Soft Candybag by Kiki van Eijk. This candy bag looks soft, but it's not. It's hard, made of ceramic. This candy bag looks like a candy bag, but it's not. It's a vase. It looks playful, and it is! This object is part of Kiki's well-known "soft series." It's first stitched in textile and then cast in ceramic. Hence the soft appearance! This particular candy bag is reminiscent of the old-fashioned candy stalls at the fair in her hometown of Tegelen, where she always went as a child.
